In 2015, Marithé brings together a collective of former employees who all share the same idea: to relaunch the brand Marithé + François Girbaud. 


Mad Lane is formed, drawing on Proust’s madeleine and the creative madness of Marithé and François as inspiration for the name. 


With a nod to the brand's nomadic past, the no-store concept eschews the formula of permanent retail outlets, preferring to take to the road in France, Belgium and Italy to see their fans. Sales on an appointment only basis in temporary locations offer a unique experience and service. There have been more than 60 sales events in the Mad Lane Tour so far. 


The range of products consists of core pieces, innovative, timeless and functional: stretch - knitwear - jeans. Fabrics, treatments and avant-garde techniques that define and identify Marithé + François Girbaud. 


Following the success of the pop-up sales events, Marithé + François Girbaud launches its e-commerce website,, with a range of pieces available worldwide.
