MARITHÉ+FRANÇOIS GIRBAUD X INCOTEX
Two seemingly very different specialists join forces in a unique collaboration. Incotex, who have been creating excellence in trouser making since 1951, and fashion rebels, Marithé + François Girbaud, who have been revolutionizing denim since 1964, present, in the words of Roberto Compagno, President and CEO of Slowear, "an avant-garde project where innovation and contamination prevail".
Renowned for his inventiveness and vision, François Girbaud, who spent many years honing his skills with Italian clothing and textile manufacturers, returns once more to the fore through this exceptional project with Incotex, a brand distributed throughout 42 countries, whose trousers are sought after by gentlemen all over the world.
Warp stretch denim for maximum vertical elasticity, resin-bonded at the bottom of the leg to allow a raw edge finish that does not require a hem, technical fabrics assembled with ultraviolet rays and ultrasonic finishes, sustainable environmentally-friendly washes and treatments that contain no chlorine or chemical agents. These futuristic-sounding techniques can be part of today’s men's wardrobes through the Incotex and Marithé + François Girbaud trouser collection.
‘Rockin' the fly’: the name is not limited to the spirit of the collection.
Rock, intended as rebellion driven by change and innovation, is used here to emphasize the proud revolution the fly front has undergone, creating hybrid styles that incorporate the Marithé + François Girbaud signature with the fit, flair and expertise of Incotex’s manufacturing mastery.
